Welcome!

My name is Mrs. Noel and I am an ELL teacher at STMA Middle School West. Our ELL program supports learners in acquiring the English needed to succeed in the classroom.  We provide direct English language instruction to identified students in the domains of reading, writing, speaking, and listening.  We also provide consultation and support to staff in helping address each student's English language learning needs in their core classrooms.

My post-secondary education began at UW-Madison. I received a bachelor of science, Physician Assistant degree and worked at a PA in family practice and urgent care for several years. After spending a few years at home, I returned to school to get my Masters in Education from St. Mary's University of Minnesota. Now I am excited to share what I have learned with you.

I enjoy being in a classroom that involves a lot of group oriented work. I believe that sharing ideas and opinions allows for more creativity and a greater love for learning. My goal this year, is to have a classroom of students that feel comfortable voicing their thoughts and engaging in school appropriate dialog.
